Westgate River Ranch Resort & Rodeo

Our stay at Westgate River Ranch Rodeo was absolutely incredible from beginning to end. We are beyond pleased with the entire experience. From the moment we arrived, the atmosphere made us feel like we had stepped into a true western getaway — peaceful, scenic, and perfectly organized. The activities were not only fun but very well coordinated, making it easy to enjoy every moment without feeling rushed. The food was outstanding — fresh, flavorful, and far exceeded our expectations for a ranch-style experience. Every meal felt thoughtfully prepared and added to the charm of the trip. The entertainment, especially the rodeo show, was a highlight. It was lively, authentic, and something we’ll be talking about for a long time. The staff throughout the property were welcoming, helpful, and genuinely added to the warmth of the stay. This was the perfect mix of adventure, relaxation, and unique experiences. Whether it was horseback riding, the outdoor activities, water park has a great pool for adults to enjoy or simply enjoying the beautiful surroundings, every part of our visit felt memorable. We left feeling refreshed, happy, and already planning our next visit. We are truly excited to come back!

Our stay at Westgate River Ranch was excellent. From the moment we arrived, the staff was friendly, which made a huge difference. The rooms are spacious, clean, and comfortable, and the facilities are very well maintained. We especially loved the boat tour. The food at their restaurant is very good, and the service is fast and friendly. The resort is ideal for families, couples, and friends, and offers a relaxed and fun atmosphere. Janelle was incredibly kind. We definitely recommend this place and would certainly return.

Our experience was absolutely wonderful. Tony (manager) at the front desk was phenomenal. The room was clean, the sheets were comfortable. The activities were great as well. My daughter enjoyed the water park, and the cowboy adventure park. She also loved the air boat ride. 10/10 recommend the glamping tents! It was a great weekend by the fire, and we would definitely do it again!

This is a beautiful place - I stayed in a 1 bedroom cabin for a week - it was decorated beautifully and the bed was so comfortable. Even the sofa bed was very comfortable that I fell asleep on it a couple of times there - waking up in the morning and being able to sit on the porch to drink my coffee and enjoy nature was a simple moment of peace that made everything feel calm and right. There is a lot of activities that you can enjoy like the Rodeo, the waterpark, riding a horse, bike riding or just watching the cows, and all animal at the petting farm. I was there on the last week on February this year and I enjoyed it so much I am going back in May so my parents can enjoy it too. The staff is very friendly and they really take care of you. They make you feel welcome. If you want a place where you want to relax and get away from the city this is the right place for you.

It was an incredible experience! We went with my 6-year-old son and he had so much fun! There are plenty of activities for all ages, and the little ones are definitely included. My favorite activity was the Swamp Buggy — we were lucky to have a very communicative and funny guide! We laughed a lot! My husband also wanted to try the shooting range. He had never done it before, but he said the instructor who helped him was great, and he was really able to enjoy his first experience shooting. The only thing I personally didn’t love was the café. Even though it carries the Starbucks brand, the quality, service, and price left a bit to be desired. But honestly, it didn’t affect our overall experience. The other food options we tried — the pizza and the burger (from the poolside food truck) — were delicious! To sum it up, we had days filled with fun, and I recommend it to everyone! I hope to come back soon!

What a great hidden gem in the middle of Florida. The Saturday night rodeo was so much fun. The airboat ride and guide was very informative, fun and got us very up close and personal with lots of alligators. The water park was great, not too busy and enough water slides to keep the kids highly entertained. The food was excellent. Breakfast buffet, BBQ, and pool bar food hit the spot. Highly recommend this place for a family getaway.

We always have great time at River Ranch. The staff is wonderful and the adventures and always memorable. In the most recent trip we had some noteworthy staff that made things extra special. Cierra - made our son’s pony ride a pure delight. Ella - made our horseback riding experience relaxing and spectacular. Joshua - my first time clay shooting a confident and comfortable experience. Thank you all for making our family vacation amazing and we look forward to the next adventure at River Ranch.

I loved the place, its so beautiful and clean, the staff is super friendly. We got the teepee and the breakfast was on time, room very clean and comfortable. The only thing I would change/request is more things, activities and options to do and eat during the week days. Most of the restaurants and bars were closed and the few options open closed super early. You literally don’t have any options to do after 8 pm. On the other hand, the few activities that we could book were great, but one the activities (escape room) was canceled the same day a couple of hours before the activity, they dont give us a reason or excuse. I would definitely recommend this beautiful and relaxing place.
